An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced EHS & Facilities Director to join TriRx at their Liverpool facility. As the largest CDMO in the Animal Health sector this is a fantastic opportunity for you to be part of our transformation and growth.

Are you the dynamic leader we need to inspire people and process at our 42 acre Biotech facility?

Our EHS & Facilities Director will report to the VP, Site Head and lead a team of subject matter experts to ensure we proactively met and exceed EHS, facility and customer expectations. You will take responsibility for our EHS compliance and be a key partner to our leadership team; advising proactively and continually improving our systems, initiatives and safety culture. What you will do as EHS & Facilities Director at TriRx

• Take ownership of our HSE management system

• Inspire, coach and manage a team of subject matter experts

• Lead and drive our safety culture with a relentless focus on continual improvement

• Own and report on facility key metrics

• Ensure Health Safety and Environmental legislation and regulations are adhered to

• Embrace accountability for all heath, safety and environmental aspects onsite

• Lead, monitor and audit our onsite emergency response team

• Ensure Site Self Inspection plan is in-place and global audit/regulatory actions are completed

• Be responsible for incorporating the governance structure of Process Safety Management into the existing framework of the sites EHS Management System

• Take a hands-on leadership approach to our site, completing audits and tours with site contractors, facility services and customers

• Participate in investigations and provide best in class advice to leadership

• Accountable for ensuring our facility management services on site are aligned with the relevant SLA’s

• Manage budget and resource in an efficient manner to achieve objectives

• Apply strategic direction for the facilities continual improvement

• Lead, implement and complete EHS and facility projects

• Provide Health Safety and Environment training if required

• Deliver strong compliance and relationships with regulating bodies

• Drive transformation within your function and beyond

• Inspire and influence our people, contractors and visitors using a range of methods including our Besafe initiative and positive reporting culture

What is the Essential Criteria for the role of EHS & Facilities Director

• A degree/masters level education in a relevant subject matter or NEBOSH Diploma

• Extensive experience in a senior EHS position at a COMAH site

• Demonstrable experience of working in a highly regulated industry

• Experience of infrastructure projects

• Proven track record of inspiring others, driving change and improving performance
