Occupational Health Nurse

TriRx are seeking an additional team member to join our fantastic Human Resources team at our Liverpool facility. You will be onsite 5 days per week and report to our Senior HR Director. You will have the autonomy to monitor and support employee health and well-being to minimise the healthcare risks they face.

What you will do as an Occupational Health Nurse

• Proactively ensure your knowledge of Healthcare and H&S training and legislation is up to date

• Work with the EHS team to understand work-based risks and implement proactive measures

• Host face to face sessions with employees at all levels of the organisation to assess health and put required plans in place

• Keep up to date records and manage employee case files in line with legislation

• Educate and train employees in the risks they may face in the workplace

• Complete new-starter health screenings

• Role specific medicals

• Health surveillance

• Sickness absence referrals

• Drug and alcohol testing

• Ownership of the DSE process and required supportive actions

• Pivotal involvement in the overall sickness and absence procedures using the Bradford factor ratings

• Directly communicate case progress at a senior level

• Any other reasonable task required to successfully uphold the duties and obligations of the Occupation Health function to our people

Essential Criteria for the role of Occupational Health Nurse

• Qualified Nurse / Occupational Therapist – Degree level education

• NMC licence and registration

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Desirable Criteria for the role of Occupational Health Nurse

• Experience or knowledge of working on a top tier COMAH site

• Experience of working a manufacturing setting
