Engineering Maintenance Manager

Are you the Engineering Maintenance Manager we need to support future growth, our technology and people?

The worlds largest CDMO in the animal health sector have a fantastic opportunity in the heart of Liverpools Biotech region.

As our Maintenance Manager you will be the subject matter expert on Maintenance Execution Practises across our 42 acre site.

You will report to the Engineering Director and lead, direct, recruit and develop the Site Maintenance support Engineering functions. This will include Engineering planners, support engineers and workshop supervision. You will own and set direction for maintenance standards and execution across the site.

What you will do as a Engineering Maintenance Manager at TriRx

• Performance management, coaching and development of staff within team, ensuring that training and development plans and career plans are developed and maintained through a structured 1:1 process. Ensure the application of sound engineering principles are being utilized.

• Business Process Owner for Maintenance at our Speke site.

• Ensure that maintenance activities across the site are completed to acknowledged engineering, safety and GMP compliance standards.

• Owns the contract and escalation process for pressure systems and mechanical integrity with Vendor.

• Owns the coordination of maintenance processes across site.

• Ensures Site Maintenance execution standards are up to date, compliant and complied with.

• Ensures Maintenance is effectively integrated into the site CRP Processes.

• Responsible for training needs of direct reports.

• Manages continual improvement of Maintenance functions by use of lean manufacturing methods.

• Manages maintenance spend with contractors to approved budget

• Ensure that Purchase Orders are in place for any externally contracted maintenance work

• CMMS Business system expertise to: train and coach users, develop best practice use of the system and maintain data.

Essential Criteria for the role of Engineering Maintenance Manager at TriRx

• Engineering degree or equivalent apprenticeship led background
• Solid demonstrable background in engineering
• Ability to showcase success at managing a team
• Understanding of Lean processes

Desirable Criteria for the role of Engineering Maintenance Manager at TriRx

• Project Management qualification
• Health and Safety qualification ie NEBOSH
